Brooke and Michael made Boulder look good and honestly, Boulder already sets the bar pretty high Colorado engagement session. We kicked things off on Pearl Street which is the perfect mix of color, texture, and that classic downtown energy. If you’ve ever wandered Pearl on a sunny afternoon, you know it has this way of making everything feel a little more alive. These two slipped into it effortlessly. They laughed, people‑watched, wandered between storefronts, and made the whole place feel like their own little date. After soaking up the city vibe, we headed toward the Flatirons at Chautauqua Park for round two.
As an engagement photographer in Colorado, this spot never gets old for me. The second we stepped onto the trail, the mountains were showing off, crisp air, and that dramatic Flatirons backdrop that makes you remember why you live here in the first place. Sessions like this are why I always love photographing in Boulder. You get the best of both worlds: the charm of Pearl Street and the wild, open beauty of Chautauqua Park all in one evening.
Once we got into the tall grass, they forgot about the camera pretty quickly. We just walked, talked, and grabbed the good stuff as it happened. Brooke and Michael were completely themselves, which always translates into photos that feel honest and natural. That’s when people look the most like themselves, when they stop trying and just enjoy being out in a place that feels good.
If you’re planning a Colorado engagement session and want photos that feel natural, fun, and a little adventurous, this is your sign. Whether we start downtown, hit the trails, or do a mix of both, Boulder is one of the best places in Colorado to tell your story. Reach out!! I’d love to connect.
