Hayley and Will’s wedding felt straight out of a dream. Honestly, some days remind me why I love wedding photography in Colorado so much, and Hayley and Will’s day was one of them. From the moment I walked into The Maven Hotel in Denver, the whole morning felt relaxed and intentional. No rushing. No chaos. Just two people getting ready to marry their best friend, surrounded by calm, steady energy.
Afterward, leaving downtown shifted the mood in the best way. Mt. Falcon was quiet and breezy, with wide‑open views in every direction. Hayley and Will didn’t try to pose or perform. They walked, talked, and took in the scenery. Overall, it felt natural and easy, which is my favorite kind of wedding photography. Although the mountains were dramatic, the two of them kept everything grounded and real.
Mountain Crust brought a totally different energy. Right away, it felt like stepping into a backyard party. Their team is upbeat, welcoming, and always ready to hype people up. It matched Hayley and Will perfectly. Because of this, nothing about the day felt stiff. Everything from the decor to the people created such a warm and lively atmosphere that fit them so well.
Their ceremony was simple and heartfelt. Guests leaned in, smiled, and stayed present. Afterward, once the food started coming out, the whole place loosened up even more. From there, people wandered around with slices, talked under the lights, and settled into the night. It felt less like a traditional reception and more like a gathering of friends who genuinely wanted to be there.
