Alyssa and Andre’s elopement in Boulder, Colorado at Chautauqua near the Flatirons was such an amazing day! When Alyssa reached out to me about photographing her and Andre’s day, I was so excited! Not only was her name also Alyssa, but she was also from Michigan and had a Central Michigan University email, which is where I also went to school! I immediately knew right off the bat from all of the similarities and the excitement in her emails that we were such a great fit!

Alyssa and Andre wanted an elopement day that was laid back, fun, and zero stress. We decided that Boulder, Colorado was the perfect place for their elopement, and I am so glad we did! If you’re eloping in Colorado I highly recommend Boulder! It is so gorgeous and close to Denver which is a huge plus. On the day of their wedding, the forecast wasn’t looking great. It was supposed to be snowy/hail and gloomy, but we decided to go for it anyways. It was absolutely MAGICAL! The clouds made for the most dramatic and gorgeous lighting, and the rain held off just in time! After their first look they exchanged vows and then we had such a blast hiking around the Flatirons and soaking in the views. We finished their day cutting a cake in their car! It was so perfect and fun to be a part of.
