When Rachel & Colby first reached out about me shooting their wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch next year, I was so excited! I could tell from the excitement in Rachel’s first emails how sweet she was and that we were a perfect match. It was so fun getting to know them more (and their two freaking adorable little pups!) at their engagement session. If you’re considering engagement photos but on the fence - do it! It’s such a fun way to get to know your photographer/get comfortable in front of the camera and also get more amazing photos of the two of you!

On the night of Rachel & Colby’s engagement session it was FREEZING and so windy up on Loveland Pass. That didn’t matter though! We had so much fun running around shivering and laughing the whole night. I love when couples are up for whatever and are determined to stay positive and just have fun no matter what! They even brought some champagne for a celebratory toast which was such a cute touch.

It was so special getting to photograph Rachel and Colby’s engagement session and I feel so honored that they trusted me to document this time in their lives and it has been so fun getting to know them! I am so excited to photograph their wedding next summer at Spruce Mountain Ranch!
