Jordan and Martin’s adventure engagement session at Echo Lake near Idaho Springs, Colorado along the Mt. Evans scenic byway was such a blast! If you’re looking for a gorgeous spot in the mountains in Colorado that’s not too far from Denver for your engagement photos or elopement, Echo Lake or anywhere along the Mt. Evans highway is a super great option! There are so many gorgeous spots to stop along the way with amazing views!! We went on a weeknight and had the whole place to ourselves. We had the best time running around the lake and stopping at different spots for photos. I love shooting up at Echo Lake for engagement sessions because it’s such a good mix of everything with tons of variety and not a ton of people there on weeknights!

Jordan and Martin are seriously two of the sweetest people I’ve ever met and it was so fun getting to know them. Aside from the gorgeous scenery, they made this night so incredible. The love they have for each other is seriously contagious and just shines through their photos. We laughed so hard all night and had such an amazing time. Jordan reached out to me pretty much right after they got engaged about shooting her wedding and engagement photos and I was so excited when I got her email! I could tell right from the start by all the explanation marks in her initial email and the excitement in her inquiry that we would be such a great fit!

I absolutely cannot wait for their dreamy winter wedding in Larkspur, Colorado this December at Spruce Mountain Ranch!!
