Brigitte and Aj’s fall adventure engagement session up on Guanella Pass in Georgetown, Colorado this past September was such a fun night and such a dream! If you’re planning a summer or fall adventure engagement session I would highly consider Guanella Pass! It is one of my favorite spots ever - there is so much variety, amazing views, and the Aspen color change in the fall is always on point!

When it comes to fall colors in the mountains in Colorado, it changes every year and can be SO hard to predict. It changes almost every year and changes quickly by the day! I always recommend my couples picking a day that works for their schedule and just rolling with it no matter what mother nature has in store because it’s always going to be beautiful! Luckily for Brigitte and AJ’s session the leaves were at their peak and the fall color on Guanella Pass did not disappoint!

Brigitte and AJ are two of the sweetest people ever and it was so fun getting to know them (and of course their adorable crazy photogenic pup, Penny) at their engagement shoot. We had so much fun hiking around, taking photos with their adorable pup, laughing, and spraying champagne!

If you’re booking me for your wedding and nervous about being in front of the camera but on the fence about adding an engagement session, I would highly recommend one! It is such a fun way to get to know each other in a low pressure setting and a fun date night for the two of you! And of course you get more amazing photos of the two of you (and your fur baby!) in a different location than your wedding!
