Dayna and Justin’s winter wonderland adventure elopement at lake Dillon and Sapphire Point in Breckenridge, Colorado was such an epic and fun day to be a part of!

Like so many couples navigating the craziness of planning a wedding during a pandemic, Dayna and Justin decided to have a small, intimate elopement with a few of their closest friends. We decided on Lake Dillon near Breckenridge, Colorado because it’s easy to access year round, in an awesome location, and it’s absolutely stunning! Of course on the day of Justin and Dayna’s elopement it was record freezing cold temps. These two made the most of it and were determined to have the most fun day ever even if it was freezing outside!

We started Dayna and Justin’s elopement day at the base of Lake Dillon where they had the the cutest first look, followed by a super sweet ceremony and exchanging of their vows. After that we took some photos with their friends before venturing off! Dayna, Justin and I spent the rest of the afternoon freezing our butts off wandering around lake Dillon and taking portraits in different spots. It was such a fun, low key, no stress day and a winter wonderland!

It was so much fun getting to know Dayna and Justin over the course of their engagement! Not only did I get to photograph their engagement session at Garden of the Gods and their elopement, but I also got to photograph their bonus wedding at Hillside Gardens in Colorado Springs this past year! It was so fun getting to photograph their big wedding because I felt like we were already great friends by then! Congrats again Dayna and Justin!
