Heidi and Jason’s gorgeous wedding at The Pines at Genesee was one for the books! The Pines at Genesee is an amazing venue in Golden, Colorado that is only about 20 minutes from Denver! It has the most romantic wooded ceremony site and is so stunning. It is also close to so many pretty spots for wedding party photos and couples portraits!

We started out Heidi and Jason’s wedding day getting ready and then went for first look and wedding party photos at Lookout Mountain near the venue. It was so much fun getting to adventure around with these two and their crew! When we made it to the venue, the rain began to start. Instead of stressing about or moving the ceremony inside, these two just decided to embrace it! They had umbrellas handed out and did the ceremony outside anyways. It was SO gorgeous and added to the romantic ambiance of the day! From there they spent the evening dancing, laughing, and celebrating with friends and family. It was the perfect example of making your wedding day amazing no matter what and not stressing things out of your control like the weather!

Heidi and Jason were two of the sweetest, most kind clients ever and I absolutely loved being a part of their day! I had the privilege to photograph not only their wedding day, but also their engagement photos in Boulder the year prior! It was so fun getting to know them and I am so grateful that I got to be a part of this time in their lives!
