A COLORADO MOUNTAIN ELOPEMENT AT SAPPHIRE POINT
Alaina and Shane’s intimate mountain elopement at Sapphire Point in Breckenridge, Colorado was absolutely gorgeous and such a fun day to be a part of! Sapphire Point is this gorgeous outlook near Breckenridge that has stunning views of Lake Dillon and is one of my favorite spots to photograph elopements, intimate weddings, and engagement sessions! When Alaina and Shane reached out about me shooting their elopement and picked Sapphire Point as the location I was so excited.
Alaina and Shane are two of the most down to earth , kind, and laid back people I have ever worked with. It was such a blast getting to know them and being a part of their wedding day. On the day of their elopement, it was foggy and rainy and they totally just embraced it - it was magical! Alaina had the most beautiful florals that her mom made her and surprised her with - how cute is that?! They had the sweetest little ceremony with their vows, incorporated poems, and had all of their guests have a chance to speak. They cried, all of their guests cried, and of course I cried. It was such a beautiful and special day! I loved that they made their ceremony so intricate and thoughtful rather than just reading their vows. After the ceremony we spent the evening running around Lake Dillon/Sapphire Point and taking photos! It was so much fun.
