Sarah and Mary kept their day low‑key in the best way which made for a classic Colorado Wedding. No chaos, no rushing, no big‑production energy. They got ready at The Terry in Longmont, hanging out with their people, helping each other with the little things, and easing into the day in a way that felt really true to them. It was calm in the best way.
Once Sarah and Mary were dressed, we drove to Boulder for photos and their private vows. The light was good, the weather was perfect, and the whole thing felt natural. Nothing forced. They read their vows tucked into the mountains with this quiet, steady energy that made the moment feel even more personal. It was one of those times where you can literally see people relax into the day.
After that, we headed up to Sunrise Amphitheater for the ceremony. Even though it was small, it didn’t feel small. The view does half the work up there, and their people filled in the rest. Their dog signing the marriage license was peak cuteness and honestly one of my favorite parts of the whole wedding. After the ceremony, they got pizza from Urban Field (which is the best in Colorado). It was casual, easy, and exactly right for this group. People grabbed slices, talked, and just hung out without any pressure or strict timeline. It matched the whole energy of the day.
It was casual and fun, and it matched the energy of the day way better than a formal dinner ever could. The reception was at The Terry and it was cozy, easygoing, and full of the kind of moments that happen when you’re surrounded by your closest people and not trying to impress anyone.
If you’re planning a Colorado wedding and want something that feels relaxed, intentional, and centered around what actually matters, this day is a perfect example of how good intimate weddings can be. Reach out if this is your vibe!
