A LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN GOLDEN, COLORADO COUPLES SESSION

This session is one I hold so dear to my heart. My best friend and undergrad roommate Brenna had just moved to Colorado this fall, while her boyfriend Ryan is still living back in Michigan. Distance, even temporarily, has been a hard adjustment for them so far, so when Brenna wanted to surprise Ryan with a session on one of his visits I was SO excited. We thought this was the perfect way to capture their relationship in her new home, and create images telling their story that will help them through the temporary distance.

I love getting to capture the love of all of my couples, but being a part of something so special for one of my best friends was amazing. I absolutely love that this job allows me to capture such important moments that my couples will have to cherish for the rest of their lives. 

Brenna was looking for somewhere in the mountains that wasn't too far from Denver but still had amazing views. Being a photographer in Colorado, it can sometimes be challenging to settle on a location because we are so spoiled here with beauty in every direction.  However, I knew Lookout Mountain would be a perfect fit for them. Just about 20 minutes from Denver in Golden, Colorado, Lookout Mountain is an amazing mountaintop lookout with views of the foothills & mountains. It's one of my favorite locations and a place I often recommend for couples & elopements since it's close to the city but still has that epic wow to it. 

We spent the evening enjoying the view and capturing the sweetest moments. We also finished with an AMAZING sunset!!
