A SAPPHIRE POINT LAKE DILLON ENGAGEMENT SESSION

Carissa and Justin’s engagement session at Sapphire Point Overlook was so so perfect and they are seriously the most fun, cute, giggly couple on earth! Lake Dillon near Breckenridge, Colorado is one of my favorite locations ever for engagement sessions, elopements, and intimate weddings. Sapphire Point has the most amazing views of the mountains and Lake Dillon, and is super accessible year round!

We started their engagement session nearby up at Loveland Pass - but the wind was UNBEARABLE!! We could hardly even talk or walk around it was so cold and icy - so we decided to call it and head to Lake Dillon, and it was absolutely perfect. I RARELY ever change a location due to weather because in Colorado I’ve learned to just roll with the craziness and embrace it, but it was the windiest I have ever experienced lol. It’s so crazy to me how in Colorado you can be freezing in one spot, but drive 15 minutes and be totally fine! Carissa and Justin were so happy it worked out that way though because the views at Sapphire Point are STUNNING! After getting to Lake Dillon, we had the best time running around Sapphire Point soaking up the views, hiking around the lake, and taking photos. I had the best time working with these two for their engagement session and am so so grateful to have the most laid back, down to earth clients who are up for anything, trust me 100%, and become such amazing friends. Seriously - like how do I get to call this a job?! I CANNOT wait for their wedding at Perry Park in Larkspur, Colorado this summer!
