A FALL VAIL COLORADO WEDDING AT DONOVAN PAVILION

Kacie and Tyler’s fall wedding in Vail, Colorado at Donovan Pavilion was one of the best days ever!! Donovan Pavilion is one of my favorite venues in Vail. It’s super cozy, intimate, and just gorgeous.

We started the day taking the gondola up to the top of Vail Mountain to do their first look, wedding party, and family photos. If you’re planning to get married at the Donovan Pavilion this is an awesome option because you kind of get best of both worlds!

September is one of my favorite months in Colorado for weddings because of the fall Aspens!! We honestly couldn’t have gotten more lucky with the fall colors for their wedding. The top of the mountain was GORGEOUSS and their ceremony literally had the most perfect fall color backdrop.

Their day was the perfect amount of boho decor, laid back/Colorado vibes, and just so full of love! Kacie and Tyler’s friends and family welcomed me with open arms and I literally felt like I was there as a guest celebrating with them who just happened to have a camera.

“Alyssa was absolutely incredible throughout both our engagement pictures and our wedding day. She has an extremely calm demeanor that sets the tone for the day and allowed us, as the bride and groom, to feel at ease throughout the entire day. Coming from two people that are admittedly very awkward (myself and my husband), she made it easy and seamless to pose for pictures to make sure we got the right shots. And enjoyed the process! She is very professional but is lighthearted at the same time and just wants everyone to have a great time. At one point she was showing us up on the dance floor! Her talent is amazing. She knows what poses will look great with each step you take. She directs the photo shoots with precision and an amazing eye for all the details that play a part - the sun, the background, strangers walking around in the area, the wind, etc. She thinks of it all! During our wedding day, it felt like she was there as a guest, not a vendor. She felt like an old friend throughout the process.
