A FALL WEDDING AT BLACKSTONE RIVERS RANCH

 

Valerie and Lee’s stunning fall wedding at Blackstone Rivers Ranch in Idaho Springs was such a dream to be a part of and such a beautiful day. Blackstone River’s Ranch is the most magical wedding venue ever - tucked back in the woods and sitting creekside. It always gives the most laid back, chill Colorado vibes while also being so elegant and romantic. It’s seriously one of my favorite wedding venues and always a treat to photograph weddings there! If you’re looking for a venue that has it all (think woodlands fairytale vibes) and it a reasonable distance from Denver - definitely add Blackstone Rivers Ranch on your list to check out!

On the morning of Valerie and Lee’s wedding I started with her at her hotel and we finished getting ready for the day. It was such a relaxed and fun morning which set the precedent for the day. From there we headed up to Echo Lake for their first look and portraits. Since Blackstone Rivers Ranch itself doesn’t have very much of a Mountain View, it’s right down the road from Echo Lake which is amazing for photos if your heart is set on a mountain backdrop!

After their first look/vows and spending some time around Echo Lake we ventured down to Blackstone Rivers Ranch for the rest of the festivities. The venue was the perfect ambience for a romantic fall wedding with the most stunning florals ever! These two had the most perfect wedding ceremony, followed by such a fun night celebrating and dancing the night away with all of their friends and family. It was such an honor to get to photograph their wedding and be a part of all!
