A COLORADO ENGAGEMENT SESSION AT RED ROCKS
Lauren and Alex are the kind of couple that instantly make you feel like you’re part of their story. We kicked off their session at Little Man Ice Cream in Denver, not just because it’s adorable (which it is), but because it’s the exact spot where they had their very first date.
We started things off with waffle cones and belly laughs, surrounded by the charm of one of Denver’s most iconic spots. It was nostalgic, playful, and totally authentic to who they are.
After the ice cream, we headed to Red Rocks for sunset portraits. If you’ve ever been there during golden hour, you know it’s pure magic. The light hits the rocks just right, and the whole place feels like a dream. Lauren and Alex were so easy to photograph, they moved together like they’d been dancing in that space for years.
At Red Rocks, they wandered the trails like it was their own little world, stopping to take in the views and tease each other in that way only couples who are best friends can. It was one of those sessions where time moves a little slower, and you can feel how much two people genuinely enjoy being together.
Fast forward to November 2025, I had the absolute honor of photographing their wedding at The Woodlands in Morrison. This venue is a total gem! Modern barn vibes, surrounded by pine trees and mountain views.
As a Colorado wedding photographer, these are the moments I live for, couples who bring their story into every part of the experience. From ice cream dates to mountaintop sunsets to cozy barn receptions, Lauren and Alex made every moment count.
If you’re planning a wedding in Colorado and want photos that feel real, relaxed, and full of life, reach out! I’d love to be part of it.
