A VAIL, COLORADO ENGAGEMENT SESSION AT PINEY RIVER RANCH

Melissa + Kurt’s adventure engagement session at Piney River Ranch in Vail, Colorado this past fall was such a blast! Piney River Ranch is one of my favorite wedding venues in Vail, Colorado (and really one of my favorites in all of Colorado!) - and it’s also such a gorgeous spot for engagement photos, especially in the fall! The aspens up there are GORGEOUS in the fall when the leaves change, and there is so much variety for photos.

We started Melissa and Kurt’s engagement session by grabbing a new beers and food at the Vail Brewing Company, and then headed up to Piney Lake from there! On our way up to Piney River Ranch we seen 4 moose super close to our car! It was so amazing. I love when I get to hangout with couples and get a drink/food prior to the session! It helps set the tone of the day so much and makes the whole experience so much fun.

When we got up to Piney River Ranch we spent the evening running around in the aspens and checking out the different trails! It was so much fun to explore and it is absolutely breathtaking up there. They also brought their little golden retriever pup who is basically the cutest ever!

It was so fun getting to know them at their engagement session and I am so happy to be a part of this time in their lives! Melissa and Kurt are two of the sweetest, most fun, down to earth people ever and I am so honored that they choose me to be their wedding photographer! I absolutely cannot wait for their wedding at Copper Mountain this summer!
